A Cúpula América do Sul-Países Árabes (ASPA) tem por objetivo aproximar os líderes políticos de duas regiões com afinidades políticas, econômicas, históricas e culturais. Proposta pelo Presidente da República Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva em 2003, foi formalmente criada em maio de 2005, durante a I Cúpula de Chefes de Estado e de Governo, em Brasília.

The Summit of South American and Arab Countries (ASPA) is an initiative aimed at bringing closer together the political leaders of the two regions, which have political, economic, cultural and historic affinities. The summit was proposed by Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva in 2003 and formally created in the first ASPA Summit (Brasília, May 2005).
